Travelling by road

Get onto E45 and head for Aalborg. Leave E45 at exit 29 (Svenstrup).

The road address of the range is:

Furdalsvej 15
9230 Svenstrup J

Travelling by air

The closest airport is Aalborg Lufthavn (AAL). There are regular flights from much of Europe to Aalborg. If travelling from outside Europe, you can probably find a flight to Copenhagen Airport (CPH). There are several daily flights from Copenhagen to Aalborg and vice versa. Rental cars are available at the airport. The range is approximately 20km from the airport, usually about a 20 minute drive.

Travelling to Denmark with firearms

If you live within the EU, the preferable method is obtaining a European Firearms Passport from your local police. With this and an personal invitation, which we will supply, you won't need to obtain any additional permits to enter Denmark with your firearm, but you'll need to fill out a form at customs.

If you wish to attend the match from outside the EU, please contact the match organizers, and we'll help you get the needed permits. When travelling to the EU, you may wish to avoid transit in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands as it may require additional permits.

Storage and transport of firearms and knives

While in Denmark, you'll need to store your firearm safely under lock and key, when you're not keeping a watchful eye on it.

When travelling with your firearm, it needs to be in a closed container (e.g. a zipped gunrug or a hard case).

For normal carry in Denmark you can bring a non-locking folding knife with a blade length of less than 7cm. Please be aware that folding knives that are designed to be opened one-handed (e.g. most Spyderco models) are illegal in Denmark. Locking folding knives and fixed blade knives are legal, but can only be used and transported for certain activities. Bringing such a knife to the range isn't be a problem, but you can't take it with you, when you go out to dinner, for instance. To prevent problems, we suggest only bringing a non-locking, sub 7cm folding knife.

The currency in Denmark is the Krone (DKK). Some stores may accept Euro notes. Credit cards are accepted in most stores. Credit cards are not accepted at the range, please bring cash (kroner or Euro notes).
